Week 9: 'Twas the Night Before Symposium...

Happy symposium week, we finally made it!! This week we wrapped up a couple of loose ends with our little guy and made sure we were ready to go for symposium. Welcome to our grand finale!!

Finishing Touches

For our demo last week, we unfortunately ran into issues with our buck converter and believe we blew it since there was too much current. :( Don't worry too much though, because we got not one, but two (2) new buck converters this week to try out! This ensures our batteries can provide the sufficient 9V to power our Arduino, and thus power the rest of our sensor suite. Assembling everything back into our bot, the new converter works great and our little guy is symposium ready!

Poster

After a successful demo last week, we got straight to work on our symposium poster. Have a look below, or come see it in all of its glory during the symposium for yourself!

As an extra bonus, we submitted our poster just in time to pay the discounted price to get it printed in time for Friday. :)

Marketing Video

The last thing we needed to be symposium-ready was to create an Oscar-worthy marketing video. This is a challenge we did not take lightly, and we made sure we went all out, with everything from the score, to the screenplay, and the cinematography. It's definitely something you don't want to miss - take a look for yourself!
